About this rug
This type of carpets are made of modal, which is a material imitating natural silk, but several times cheaper than it itself. They are made mainly on a machine and have a high thread density, namely about 1,000,000 m2. They are made mainly in Turkey and very often people confuse them and classify them as natural silk carpets.
