About this rug
The original patterns are knotted in the Iranian city of Bidjar and the surrounding villages of Kermanshah province. It is one of the most popular carpets in the world. The partial incorporation of wet wool during the knotting process makes the carpet incredibly tight and durable. This is called wet weaving.
